August 10, 2004 -- The West End Comedy Theatre--Dallas’ premiere comedy nitespot--announces the newest addition to its weekly comedy line-up. Beginning Saturday, July 24, legendary Dallas comedy troupe SECTION 8 will unleash their Rock n’ Roll brand of in-your-face, hilarious comedy and music to downtown audiences.
All performances will take place at The West End Comedy Theatre, located at 603 Munger Avenue, Suite 100B, 1st Floor of the historic West End MarketPlace in the world-famous Dallas Alley, in the heart of downtown Dallas, 75202.
PERFORMANCE DATES: Saturdays, July 24, August 7, 14, 21, & 28, September 4, 11, &18. Press welcome anytime.

A blend of shocking sketch, hilarious improv and cool music has granted them critical acclaim and a wide-spread fan base throughout the country. Section 8 has performed with such notorious talents as David Spade, Lewis Black, Jon Lovitz, Destiny’s Child, Tesla, The Nixons, L.A. Guns, Oleander, Freddy Jones Jazz Group, Dynamite Hack, Bloodhound Gang, Tracy Byrde, and David Garza, just to name a few. Stages that have welcomed the irreverent comedy troupe include the Hollywood Improv, Addison Improv, Smirnoff Music Center, Reunion Arena, Lone Star Park, Texas Motor Speedway and Big Stinkin’ Improv Festival #4 (Austin, TX).
